Overview
Chico's Rebound is a block-breaking puzzle adventure game. Players control Chico the chipmunk as he and his friend Beeatrice explore the mysterious Celestial Tower! Inside, you'll find dozens and dozens of levels of block-breaking challenges, a horde of intimidating boss battles, and six floors of an interconnected dungeon full of puzzles to solve.
As Daikon's second commercial title, after Chico and the Magic Orchards DX, the goal was to make something bigger and better. We iterated on the characters and concepts from that first Chico game, but took the gameplay in a fresh direction by adding the block-breaking elements.
Chico's Rebound also contains a more fully-fledged narrative than the first game, with a host of friendly NPCs and a mysterious story that unfolds as you explore.
This isn't your ordinary iterative sequel, but a creative twist that takes elements from the first game such as puzzles and walnut powerups, and remixes them into a whole new context. We're hoping both returning and new players will find something to love in Chico's Rebound!

Exciting Rebound Action
Break all the blocks to beat each level. Every area has unique block types, level elements, powerups, and game mechanics. Players will need skill and cleverness to clear every round with a high score!
Unique Gameplay Mashup
Chico's Rebound isn't just a block-breaker, but also a top-down puzzle adventure! Try to reach the top floor of the Celestial Tower by exploring, solving puzzles, and helping NPCs. Further your progress by finding and clearing block-breaking levels!
Boss Battles
Every area ends with an intimidating boss battle. Use your block-breaking skills and the right powerups to put these baddies in their place.
Optional Special Challenges
The game contains 30 completely optional "Special" levels that mix-and-match powers and mechanics from the main levels into creative and challenging new forms. You'll need to demonstrate excellence in the main levels, and clever puzzle solving in the Celestial Tower, to earn the right to take on this challenge!
Express Yourself
Players can spend in-game currency to customize the looks of both their walnut (the ball) and the in-game HUD. A variety of styles are available for fun self-expression, including various nuts, sports balls, and pride flag designs! Some special HUD designs even animate as you play the game.
